Professor of Organic Chemistry, CERMN, Faculty of Pharmacy, Health Department, University of Caen Normandy Background Christophe Rochais received his PhD in the group or Prof. S. Rault from the University of Caen Basse-Normandie (2005). After a post-doctoral fellowship that he completed in the Centre for Biomolecular Sciences of the University of Nottingham under the supervision of Pr Peter M. Fischer, he was appointed Lecturer in Organic Chemistry in the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Caen Normandy in 2007 and since January 2014 he assumed the position of Professor in Organic Chemistry. His research interests include medicinal chemistry program in the field of enzymatic inhibition and receptor modulation in order to develop pharmacological tools and bioactive compounds. Since 2012 he is leading an research program dedicated to the development of pleiotropic agents of interest in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease.
